The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may be subject to security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

Note on data transfer to the USA and other third countries

We use, among other things, tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that do not have secure data protection regulations. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to release personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and
against direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons related to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR). If your personal data is processed in order to conduct direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection in accordance with Art. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged violation. This right of complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you have requested the direct transfer of the
If you request that data be transferred to another controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection
by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to have this data corrected or deleted, if applicable. You can contact us at any time with any questions about this or other issues relating to personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time to do so. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deleted.

  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Objection to advertising emails

The use of contact information published in accordance with the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby prohibited. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, such as spam emails.

Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our website (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for
processing of payment services).

Cookies serve various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website features wouldn't work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or displaying videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are required to carry out electronic communication (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure web audiences) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. You can set your browser to inform you about the use of cookies and to only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, to exclude cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:

  • Browser type and version

  • IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact information you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), if requested.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed).
Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Inquiry by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, phone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.

The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular, statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.

5. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for consistent font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must establish a connection to Google's servers. This tells Google that this website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the font on its website. If corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

For more information about Google Web Fonts, see https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps service. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. If Google Maps is activated, Google can use Google Web Fonts for the purpose of uniformly displaying fonts. When you call up Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.

Google Maps is used in the interest of providing an attractive presentation of our online offerings and making the locations we list on our website easy to find. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If consent has been requested, processing will be carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.

For more information on how user data is handled, please see Google’s privacy policy:  https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

6. Own services

Handling applicant data

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by email, post, or via an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data will be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws and all other statutory provisions, and that your data will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Scope and purpose of data collection

If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. This consent can be revoked at any time. Within our company, your personal data will only be passed on to people who are involved in processing your application.

If your application is successful, the data you submit will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

Data retention period

If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer, or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application) on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. This retention period is primarily for evidential purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the expiry of the 6-month period (e.g. due to impending or pending legal proceedings), it will only be deleted when the purpose for further retention no longer applies.

Longer storage may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or if statutory retention periods prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the applicant pool

If we don't offer you a job, we may be able to add you to our applicant pool. If you are accepted, all documents and information from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you if suitable vacancies arise.

Inclusion in the applicant pool is based solely on your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Providing your consent is voluntary and has no connection to the ongoing application process. The person concerned can revoke his consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are legal reasons for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
